I'm a PhD student in Medical Engineering at Chonnam National University, South Korea. My background is veterinary medicine, I graduated from the University of Tehran (ranked first in Iran) as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. During my undergraduate course, I followed Medical engineering-related topics and focused on tissue engineering. For my undergraduate thesis, I worked on tendon tissue engineering and also engaged in bone, cartilage and nerve tissue engineering. I decided to focus on this area and pursue a graduate degree in tissue engineering.

I'm an expert in tenocytes, chondrocytes, osteoblasts, and adipose tissue stem cell isolation. As a DVM I performed in vivo studies and animal-related tests. Two pole Electrospinning is my area of interest in making scaffolds, specifically parallel PCL fibers.
