Currently, Viviana Ribeiro is a Researcher at Centro de Biotecnologia e Química Fina (CBQF) performing research centred in the valorization of agro-food by-products and green biotechnology-based solutions for biomedical applications in the field of skin care. The analysis of her research shows that her background follows 3 main topics: i) Natural-based biomaterials development and valorization through the exploitation of their biological potential; ii) Materials functionalization and characterization in the context of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications; iii) Cell culture design for in vitro grafts¿ validation and assessment of biocompatibility properties.
