Ksenia MENSHIKH profile

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the INNOVATION laboratory led by Professor Lia Rimondini at the University of Eastern Piedmont in Italy. I obtained my PhD degree in the framework of the EU HORIZON 2020 funded Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Innovative Training Networks (MSCA ITN) project PREMUROSA. In my Bachelor's and Master's studies, I focused on bone tissue engineering and tumour engineering. Combining these interests of mine, currently, I am working on the development of an advanced in vitro model of primary bone cancer - osteosarcoma - involving working with various biomaterials and recreating the bone tumour microenvironment in lab conditions.

My expertise covers advanced 3D in vitro models, biomaterials characterisation, tissue and tumour engineering.
